TIPPING

Tipping is at your discretion. A general guide for restaurants, cafes and bars is from 10 to 15%. There are situations when many travelers let the quality of the service dictate the size of the tip.

DRESS CODE

Loose, light fabrics. Daytime wear is usually cool and casual, slightly fancier for the evening. A casual dress atmosphere prevails in most locations. No suits nor ties.
Hat, sunglasses and suntan lotion are highly recommended when enjoying the sun while taking walks or visiting the beaches in Mykonos and Greece in general.

LOCAL CUSTOMS

Mykonian people are known for their hospitality and their friendliness. Almost everybody speaks English and communication is quite easy.
In Greek restaurants it is common practice to receive your bill at the table only if you ask for it. So when you are ready, just say "to logariasmo parakalo".
Our front Office staff will be glad to assist making a reservation in one of the restaurants.
